St. George Bicycle Collective Staff

Judith Rognli

St. George Bicycle Collective Director

Judith Rognli began riding her bike to school in first grade and has never stopped since. She moved to St. George from Germany in 2015. For her, the Bicycle Collective is the perfect place to share her passion for bicycling and to be an active part of the growing bicycling community in St. George. She loves to empower and encourage people to use their bikes as their form of every day transportation and to learn about bike mechanics. Judith has previously worked as a researcher and university teacher, and she has run volunteer projects and ridden her bike with students in Kyrgyzstan, Germany and other places around the globe.

Amy Osness

Youth Program CoordinatorAmy Bio Pic

Amy is a St George Local with a deep love and respect for her community.
In 2013 Amy’s boys joined the High School Mountain bike team, it was then that she started volunteering as a ride leader. After completing the requirements she began coaching for the team, training with the kids, teaching mountain bike skills, bike maintenance, safety, and the importance of proper nutrition.
Getting more kids on bikes is something she is very passionate about. When Amy is not working with kids on bikes she enjoys helping families and individuals find their dream home or investment property through her career as a Real Estate Agent.
Amy is also an accomplished photographer, her favorite subjects are the unique and beautiful local landscapes and of course bicycling and sporting events.

Joel Flores

Bike Mechanic

Originally from Southern California, Joel learned the ropes of bike mechanics in Moab bike shops.

He raced both downhill and road bikes, and loves to lend his expertise in bike mechanics and his ability to diagnose almost any issue in that realm to anyone who'd like to learn. Joel also built trails for the National Parks Service and Conservation Core, and worked in Search and Rescue and as a Wildland Firefighter. He's got some stories to tell.

Ask him about his experiences being involved in the Columbia Shuttle recovery efforts and what he knows about the real story behind the movie "127 hours".

Zach Bolton

Bike Mechanic

Zach is an avid mountain biker and loves to spend his time shredding on any trail that is available to him.
Due to the destructive nature of mountain biking Zach has found interest in repairing his own mechanical issues and helping others fix theirs.
