YOSlive

Hey Everyone!

Youth Open Shop: Live is a weekly livestream where we do our best to answer your questions and help you learn more about bikes! Currently we stream every week on

Tuesday @ 5:00 p.m. (Utah time)

Every week we go over a simple topic about bike repair, bike tools, bike riding, or bike facts. We do these live so that if you would like to ask a bike related question we can go over them right then and there! Any bike related questions are welcome! Whether we are covering that topic in the stream or not, we would love to answer your bike related questions!

Safety Rules

Now, if you would like to participate, we ask that everyone you follow a few simple safety rules:

Internet Safety

1. Be Excellent to Each Other

Always treat other people online with respect! Don't engage people who want to make you angry or are trying to start arguments.

2. Guard Your Privacy

You can always post anonymously if you would like. If you do post with your name be sure to only include your first name, last initial, and general area where your from. (Example: Melody T. West Haven, Utah)

3. Bike Photos

We would love to show pictures of your bike problems and help you learn how to fix them! You can email your bike photos to  but there are a two important rules: Have it be against a plain background like a wall, your yard, or the pavement; and don't show any personal information, such as someone's face, your house number, the license plate of a car, or anything else like that.

4. Ask Permission

If you are younger than 18 years old, always ask your parent or guardian if it is alright that you submit anything over the internet.

Safety Rules

1. Use the Right Tool

Make sure to find out what tool is best for the job and how to use it correctly. A wrench is not a hammer, and a knife can be dangerous if you try to use it as a screwdriver!

2. Ask for Help

If you need help lifting or holding something, using a tool you aren't comfortable with, or don't know what to do next, always ask for help!

3. Keep Safety in Mind

Always keep your safety and the safety of those around you as the highest priority when working on and riding bikes! Stay safe!
