FAQs

Are there minimum age requirements for the community bike ride?

The community bike ride will be an easy, no-drop, family friendly ride, however we encourage anyone who may not be able to complete a 3 mile bike ride independently to use a trailer, trail-bike attachment, or other attachment to help stay in pace with the rest of the riders.

We will have safety riders, designated by signs, in front and in back of the group. The Ogden Police Department will close roads and provide an escort for the ride, but roads will re-open to traffic behind the final safety rider. If you are behind that rider, we will not be able to guarantee your safety and you will be considered traffic as usual.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

All ages are invited to attend Bike Homecoming. Only those of the Legal Drinking Age may participate in the consumption of alcoholic beverage. Beer will be sold, as well as non alcoholic alternatives.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Ride the Front Runner north from your town (very bike-friendly) and ride .5 miles to the starting point! There is also parking up and down local business along 25th street, as well as behind the Ogden Amphitheater. During the dance, Bike Valet will be provided by Ogden Bicycle Collective at no charge!
