18.5” Yeti A.S.-3 XC (As-Is) (Pre-Owned)

Sometimes at the Bicycle Collective we receive donations that we believe would be better (and more economically) restored by a passionate enthusiast instead of our shop mechanics. Bicycle restoration is deeply satisfying work, and our AS IS bicycles are waiting for the right person to scoop them up and restore them to their former glory.

This Yeti A.S. -3 XC has seen some action. It's clear from the single 48 tooth chainring that the previous owner of this bicycle was interested in going only one direction: downhill. Both hubs are faded and have play, and the shifter needs to be cleaned, but the suspension works and the paint is in much better shape than one would expect for a 25 year old bicycle. 

Although its podium days may be behind it, a bike like this deserves to be restored. If you think you're up to the task, come by our Salt Lake City shop and pick it up, or for $150 it ships to you anywhere in the Continental US of A.
