1990's Schwinn Homegrown Full Suspension Frame 19"

This vintage Schwinn Homegrown is in Sweetspot, which was their name for this design. This is a first generation Sweetspot, likely from 1995, in a rare "backwards" color combo (more common from that time period was the red front/black rear combo). Later second generation models switched to an oversized hollow pivot. Based on our research, this is an American-made frame, made in the Seattle-area ControlTech factory, known for high-quality aluminum frames, stems, and seat posts. It even has a ControlTech seat post included. Includes a Fox shock, which likely needs servicing, if you are going to build this up. Now for the bad: there is chronic chain-suck damage to the drive side chain stay. You be the judge. The gouges are pretty deep. Could be a parts bike, or you could try your luck with this piece of 90's MTB history.

- Schwinn full suspension frame for 26" Mountain Bike wheels
- made in USA aluminum front and rear triangle
- major gouging on chain stay from chain suck (see photo)
- some larger paint chips and flaking, but otherwise
- 19" frame (23" effective top tube)
