Want to fix your own bicycle?  During Open Shop hours, we have up to six workbenches of professional-grade bike tools available for public use.  With the guidance of a staff mechanic, even those who have never picked up a wrench before can learn how to repair a flat tire, replace a cable, or even give their bike a full tune-up.

Born and raised in Utah, Cole has always loved the outdoors. He was introduced to mountain biking in 2016, and since then he has raced with a local team and worked at a bike shop. After discovering the Bicycle Collective in 2017, he started volunteering in Youth Open Shop and has since become an employee. When he’s not at the Collective, Cole likes mountain biking, camping, running, reading, and playing the cello.

The man, the myth, the legend... JP!

The Bicycle Collective received $2500 to fund a fall series of after school bike mechanics classes for Elementary Schools in Washington County. We thank Intermountain Healthcare and the Community Partner Fund for helping us to provide basic training and FREE bicycles to elementary students from low-income families!⠀

The St. George Bicycle Collective provides basic bike mechanics training and bicycles to children in need as part of the GO WASH CO initiative, which is brought forth by several agencies including Intermountain Healthcare / Dixie Regional Medical Center, The Bicycle Collective, Southern Utah Bicycle Alliance, Southwest Utah Public Health Department, City of St. George Leisure Services, SelectHeath and the Healthy Dixie Council.
