As of Wednesday, June 30th, 2021 appointments will no longer be necessary for bike and parts shopping.

Open-Shop has returned! As of Wednesday, July 7th, we are now operating our (DIY) Open-Shop program by appointment.

Our bike shop is different compared to other shops in the area. At the Bicycle Collective we’re about education above all so we put the wrench in your hand. We won't do the work for you, but we'll help you to complete almost any bike-related project; there’s absolutely no experience needed! Whether you’re an old hand at the wrench or laying hands on a drivetrain for the first time, we can help you out, as hands-on or hands-off as you want.

Use of the shop is $5 per half-hour, or free to members.

Alan Gooch is a graduate from our Junior Bicycle Mechanic Apprenticeship and a long time volunteer during youth open shop. Alan's music taste has evolved over his employment with the bicycle collective and he's now the expert on folk-punk and 80's new wave.

Brandon Barnes joins the Ogden Bicycle Crew as our newest mechanic. Brandon brings with him years of experience. He also owns a bicycle sail. Stop by and meet Brandon

Check out our inventory of refurbished bicycles! We carry a large selection of used bicycles that are overhauled by our mechanics and given a multi-point inspection so they’re ready to ride out the door.

Book A Test Ride!

Here's what's been built up recently at the Ogden Shop:

Our inventory changes regularly. Check back frequently and visit our shop often!

Did you know we also have items on eBay?

Check out what treasures we have for sale at the Ogden Location. All proceeds help fund our charitable programming!

We're excited to partner with Retrospec bicycles to provide new, affordable, quality bikes in addition to our refurbished bicycles. You can purchase them safely online for pickup in the shop.

Cub Balance Bikes

A balance bike is better than training wheels. Riding along with no pedals means kids balance on their feet, which means their feet are almost always touching the ground. We brought in these balance bikes because we often get requests from parents looking for alternatives to training wheels. We want to offer the cycling experience to the entire family.

Women's Night header new

Women’s Night offers a safe and supportive environment for females and those who identify to volunteer in the shop or fix their own bikes. Participants learn new skills, get practical help with their own bikes, and contribute to our bicycle giveaway programs. Join us whether you have experience with bicycles or not.

The Women's Night events and group are for: Anyone who identifies as female, transgender, femme, genderqueer, trans-masculine, trans-feminine, or feels that their socialization or treatment as a woman, transperson*, femme has impeded their participation in bicycle mechanics.

For those working on their own bikes, there is a $10/hour suggested donation (more if you can, less if you can't).

Join our virtual community at: facebook.com/groups/obcwomen for Women's Night info, updates and to talk bikes, biking and bike mechanics.
