Youth Bike Mechanics Summer Camp

Earn a bike or bring your own!

Our Youth Bike Mechanics Summer Camp is a hands-on course designed to foster problem solving skills through bicycle mechanics for youth ages 13-18. During the 5-day program, kids are taught basic bicycle mechanics and safety skills that will not only enable them to to work on their own bikes, but also to help their friends and families with keeping their bikes running!

Participants will refurbish a bicycle from the St. George Bicycle Collective. They will also have the option to work on their own bikes during specified parts of the workshop. Participants who do not own a bike will be able to keep the bike after the summer camp or they will have the option to donate the bike they work on to a teen who might need it more at the end of the course.
