Ride Ready! 2 at Heritage Elementary

22 March 2018 Published in St. George News

Wednesday afternoon marked the completion of our second Ride Ready! clinic at Heritage Elementary. 11 hard-working and excited students spent 2 hours learning about the basics of bike ownership, bike mechanics, and bike safety. We're so grateful so have a community that supports our mission and to have so many opportunities to give back. Kids received a bicycle, helmet, taillight, patch kit, water bottle, spare tube, tire levers, and a map of St George's bike paths and urban trails - a must have kit for any cyclist in town! Thanks a ton to our volunteers for getting bikes built and instructing the participants, without you it wouldn't have been possible. And another BIG thanks to Southern Utah Bicycle AllianceHealthy Dixie Council | Washington County, Utah and Wildland Trekking for their continued support of our programs and mission, as well as the trailer donation for bike transport. Check out the photos below if #newbikeday makes you smile. ☺️
