SelectHealth Chooses Bicycle Collective For 2021 Annual Award
SelectHealth started their awards back in 2008, to recognize organizations that provide services that improve community health or service those with special needs. In the case of the Bicycle Collective, we do both.
In addition to a grant, the Bicycle Collective benefited from having the SelectHealth team visit our Salt Lake City shop, as they shot some video footage of a typical day in the life of volunteers working in the shop to refurbish bicycles that will go out to someone in the community who needs a set of wheels, either to help gain mobility to commute to work or school, or just get out for a ride and enjoy fresh air and exercise.
The SelectHealth Awards are granted annually to organizations who "are making a difference in our community." The Bicycle Collective was chosen as one of 20 out of over 200 applicants for 2021 awards and grants. Check out the video that SelectHealth put together for us below:
