bike prom 2026

Bike Prom 2026 marks the return to Spring. It seems like we just wrapped up last year's event, because we did (September 2025), but after a lot of deliberation with our board and key stakeholders, we are all set and permitted for Saturday, May 30th, 2026. A few details are still TBD, as we are working hard on a new and improved LONGER bike route, and some tweaks and improvements to the party at Woodbine Food Hall. Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, March 24th.

QUESTION: Do I have to be present to bid on and/or win items in the Silent Auction?

QUESTION: Where is Bike Prom?
ANSWER: Bike Prom features a "slow roll" ride on closed streets. We are working with SLC police and parks for the final details and will release them soon. As was the case in 2025 and 2024, our Prom Party takes place after the ride at Woodbine Food Hall + Drift Lounge, in the Granary District.

QUESTION: What is Bike Prom?
ANSWER: Bike Prom is a family-friendly event for folks of all ages, and is Bicycle Collective’s fundraising event to support the operation of our New Hub and Community Bike Shop. Don your fanciest prom duds or costume, grab a date (or group, or come solo) and join a thousand friendly riders on a slow ride around SLC streets.

QUESTION: What am I going to do with my bike when I get to the party?
ANSWER: We will offer complimentary Bike Valet at Woodbine which will be staffed by Bicycle Collective staff and volunteers, so you don't have to worry about your wheels.

QUESTION: Can I bring my dog to Bike Prom?
ANSWER: As much as we love dogs, Bike Prom is not a pet-friendly event this year, due to the ride route and the venue. Please, no pets.
